I'm back!! Life has been crazy busy this past week, I went home for Kev's high school graduation...and what would going home be without a trip to DISNEY!!!! I haven't been in 6 months and have really been going through withdrawals...it's been rough! So I flew into LAX on Tuesday night (amen for $77 airline tickets) and I was back in the land of sunshine and palm trees!
We got up pretty early on Wednesday morning to make way to Disney, and naturally we had to get in line for California Adventure, to get on the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride...it was amazing! Kev and I ended up getting fast passes and right when we finished getting those we got on the ride, thanks mom and dad for waiting in the stand by line! So..Kev and I rode the ride 2 times! I about died from excitement, it's pretty similar to Hollywood Tower of Terror, but there is a TON more free fall drops, and it really is straight out of the movie!

Also I just have to say...meeting Groot was the all time highlight, I about peed my pants! Groot pointed at my Marvel shirt and said "We are Groot" and I about died for the second time during the day! Y'all will have to comment below if you've gone on the ride and what you thought!
Naturally, we had to hit all of our normal rides, Indiana Jones, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and California Screamin, Disneyland, is just my favorite place to be...besides my bed:) I also about died when we checked at the Red Rose Tavern to see if they had the much coveted Beauty and the Beast Rose cup...and they did!!!!! Of course I had to get one, and the Rose Lemonade was delicious!!! what are your favorite rides or things to do at Disney?
Next up, was the big day for Kev! The much awaited high school graduation! Fatty graduated with honors, meaning he had an overall GPA above 3.6, a certain amount of volunteer hours and a bunch more stuff needed...last semester his GPA was a 4.6 freakin smarty pants that one! So proud of all his friends, who also graduated with Honors! Y'all are gonna do great things!!
One last Kake for the class of 2017...life after High School is hard...really hard, but don't give up, it will get easier as you navigate through life. You will meet some of your life long friends after high school, but keep in touch with those select few from high school too...cherish your parents, moving out is scary and you're gonna miss them when you've got a 104 fever and no one is there to take care of you. And above all...LOVE, just love your life, love people around you, love yourself...smile at the stranger in the hallway, it might make all of the difference in their day. Everyone, no matter the circumstances deserves love!
Remember, life is a lot like Kake, and sometimes the craziest of recipes turn out to be the best ones!
